Location

Puerto de Santiago is the most populated village inside the municipality of Santiago del Teide, located on the western coast of Tenerife, some 40 km from the Tenerife South Airport.
This quiet fishing village enjoys the same crystal-clear waters as its neighbour, Los Gigantes, which is just a few minutes' walk away, as well as the same spectacular views of its impressive cliffs that drop down to the ocean from a height of 600m. The area offers a wide range of water activities and whale watching excursions from its marina.
Puerto de Santiago has its own small black sandy beach and is only a few minutes’ walk from the famous Playa de la Arena. In recent years it has developed into a tourist area with a seafront promenade and all facilities within walking distance, but without the hustle and bustle of the larger destinations such as Costa Adeje or Playa de las Americas which are about 20 minutes away by car.
