Vilaflor de Chasna is a rural municipality located in the midlands of the south of Tenerife at an average of 1500 m above sea level, making it one of the highest municipalities in Spain.
Thanks to its privileged location, nestled in the highest part of the island, a stone's throw from Mount Teide and surrounded by pine forests, the small village of Vilaflor still retains a unique charm, with a rich historical heritage, traditional Canarian architecture and cobbled streets.
Situated just halfway (about 35 minutes) between the peak of Mount Teide and the major tourist resorts of the south, this peaceful village attracts visitors with its incredible natural landscapes that invite them to go hiking and discover its delicious wines or waters produced from the abundant local springs.
