San Miguel de Abona is a municipality in the south of the island, located just a few minutes from the Tenerife South Airport and 10-15 minutes from the major tourist destinations of Los Cristianos and Playa de Las Americas inside the neighbouring municipality of Arona.

The peaceful and welcoming town centre of San Miguel de Abona is situated at 580m above sea level and provides all needed facilities such as supermarkets, restaurants, bars, shopping areas, schools and a medical centre. It is located about 15 minutes’ drive from the coastal area of the municipality which includes the much-loved villages of Golf del Sur and Amarilla Golf, both with renowned golf courses and beautiful ocean views.

The area of San Miguel de Abona is surrounded by nature, such as the popular Montaña Amarilla, and features small beaches and bathing areas, perfect to enjoy water sports and the sunny and warm climate, with mild temperatures all year round.
