Guía de Isora

Guía de Isora is a municipality of Tenerife located in the west of the island, bordering Adeje, Santiago del Teide and the Teide National Park, and stretching from the ocean to an altitude of 1055 metres above sea level.

The historic centre of Guía de Isora, which boasts several traditional-style buildings, is 580 metres above sea level, while the municipality's 15 kilometres of coastline, which includes the small fishing villages of Playa San Juan and Alcalá, has become a quiet tourist area that enjoys mostly mild temperatures as it is one of the areas of the island with the most hours of sunshine per year.

The quiet village of Guía de Isora offers all the needed facilities such as banks, restaurants, supermarkets and shops and is very well located, about 35 minutes from Tenerife South airport, only 15-20 minutes from the main tourist destinations such as Costa Adeje, Playa de las Américas or Los Cristianos, and only a few minutes from several beaches.

The municipality is also home to the exclusive Abama Golf Resort which boasts a luxury Ritz-Carlton hotel, several gourmet restaurants, a wonderful golden sandy beach and an emblematic golf course recognised as one of the best in Europe.
